The Beaufort Original is a 6oz waxed cotton mediumweight jacket from Barbour with full width rear game or cartridge pocket with side zips.
The Barbour Beaufort jacket has a corduroy collar which is studded to fit Barbour's optional hoods which are also listed on this web site. The corduroy collar also works well with the pewter wildlife badges in our gifts section.
The Beaufort jacket has several features;
Press-studded throat flap.
Storm fly front.
Raglan sleeves with underarm ventilation eyelets.
Adjustable storm cuffs.
Brass finish, two-way metal zip.
Two large bellows pockets with press-studded storm flaps.
Two moleskin lined handwarmer pockets.
Concealed zip-up wallet pocket.
Full width rear game or cartridge pocket with side zips.
Pure cotton tartan lining (except navy version, see below).
Zips for Barbour's optional lining.
Colour options; sage with Barbour ancient tartan lining, black with Barbour modern tartan lining, rustic brown with Barbour muted tartan lining, archive olive, bark with classic tartan lining or navy blue with Barbour dress tartan lining.
You may also choose from a wide range of chest sizes from 30 to 52 inch chest.
Outer: 100% Cotton (6oz Waxed)
Lining: 100% Cotton except for the navy version which is 78% cotton and 22% Polyester - don't ask me why :-)
