Classic Canes Goliath extra large black beech derby with gilt collar is an extra large walking stick to suit the stick user of larger proportions. This sturdy beech derby cane is lacquered black and fitted with a gilt collar, making it suitable for smart occasions as well as everyday use. The overall height of the cane is 113cm (44.5”); it can be shortened using a small saw.

The derby handle is 17cm long, so offers plenty of room for larger hands. The handle and shaft are joined with an extra strength metal pin, allowing the cane to be used normally by people of up to 225kg (approximately 35.5 stone). As with all walking sticks, care must be taken to use the cane for support and balance. It should not be subjected to undue leverage, as in when rising from a low chair.
