This base stud is widely used on suitcases and some holdalls. It is fitted when in place with a conical punch to open the diameter of the centre rivet and then a hammer to tap it and tighten it up against the washer. The approximate dimensions are as follows:
Depth of Cap:3.5mm
Diameter of cap (at base):15mm
Diameter of hole: 4mm
