This replacement leather briefcase handle is available in brown and black. Metal end pieces are supplied and can be fixed using woodscrews. This style of handle is often used on wooden cases e.g. those used for backgammon and musical instruments. The handle springs back into the flat position when not in use, hence the name. We have known them to be used on old Marshall amplifiers and speakers. The ideal overall length including chrome fittings is 215mm, there is a little flexibility (handle width 26mm). Hole centres 173mm. Hole diameter 7mm.

I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. I ended up ordering the Sapper and it's already arrived. It may be a little long for me but I don't mind, and knowing how Barbour lasts it will be great to pass down to my son. I'm interested in acquiring the Spen as well, probably soon. I think it's safe to say Saddler has made a customer for life. Thank you!
