This type of chrome finish base stud is widely used on leather briefcases and some holdalls. It is easily fitted when in place with a screwdriver to open the legs of the stud and then a hammer to tap them down. We recommend that a washer is used inside the case to ensure a tight fit. Approximate dimensions are as follows:
