All our horn-handled walking sticks are made using natural horn, a by-product from farmed animals.
The charm of these traditional country sticks lies in their practicality as much as in their looks and they make tactile and very interesting additions to any walking stick collection. They also make ideal retirement gifts.
This example has a thumbstick top made of stag's horn, mounted atop a hazel shaft. The added attraction of this stick is that one prong of the thumbstick has been carved to form a whistle - reassuring when hiking alone. Standard length 135 cm long.
