This square ferrule or stopper measures maximum 21mm x 21mm and minimum 15mm x 15mm externally. The fins are 20mm x 20mm when not squashed into the steel tubing of the chair or stool leg and the internal measurement is 14mm x 14mm. Overall height is 16mm. The ferrule is made from black nylon. I estimate it will fit snuggly into square steel tube with an internal measurement of around 16 to 17mm.
