Globe Pelham
globe pelham biPelham bits attempt the same results as a double bridle, but using only one bit. They work on the points of control in the mouth, plus the poll and curb groove. The result of pressure on the curb groove, is a pivoting action, causing the head to tilt into the conventional 'on the bit' postition. Double reins should be used, so that the curb action is exerted only when required. One rein via the use of roundings. Pelham bits are good for strong horses. This Globe Pelham Bit is now available in 4.5 inches only. How to correctly adjust the height of your new bit. It is best to do most of the adjustment before putting the bridle on the horse so, put the bit onto the bridle then hold it up to the side of the horse's face. Then put the top of the headpiece level with the top of the horse's head (poll) and the mouthpiece of the bit level with the corner of the mouth. Next adjust the bridle to fit. The cheekpieces should be adjusted, so that the bit lies in the correct position in the horse's mouth, i.e. leaving a little wrinkle at each corner of the mouth. Do not fit the bit to high, so that the horse appears to be grinning. Do not fit the bit too low, so that the bit hits the horse's teeth. Established in the late eighteenth century (1700s) the Eldonian brand is one of the original and most respected names in riding hardware throughout the equestrian world. Eldonian is owned and marketed by Jeffries, under whose supervision only the finest stainless steel is used, to manufacture bits in a carefully-controlled engineering environment. This ensures that Eldonian stainless steel hardware meets the exacting standards of quality, strength, reliability and safety demanded by today's discerning riders.

Customers Say

My husband recently ordered on-line #10394252 for something to fix his briefcase, which has been sitting broken in a closet for over 11 years. Thank's to you and your small business, he was able to get the item he needed to fix it, something I was going to throw away is useful again. Thanks again.

The bag has arrived "safe and sound" in Germany yesterday. Thanks for processing the order so quickly and the great service.

Birte S., Germany
Hi Thank you Paul and Sara, I hope to receive the lock set tomorrow and if there's anything else I can put your way please be assured that I will;
Kind regards,

Albert M., Belfast
I want to thank for your attention and let you know that I received the locks yesterday in time for another trip. It was indeed fantastic to find your site selling those locks. I bought that Delsey suitcase in a trip to London in June 1984!! The sales agent jumped on the bag to demonstrate how strong it was (at the time thos suitcases were still produced in France), I never forget that and indeed, it is strong - 27 years old and still in good shape, but the locks could not resist airport security in Houston. The new locks are now in place and tomorrow will fly again in another direction.

Wow! Thanks for great communication and amazingly prompt dispatch - much appreciated ! Will definitely use your company again.

This is all that's best about Internet shopping : finding exactly what you want at the click of a mouse, dealing with small companies who actually care about what they are doing and therefore getting a friendly prompt service. Just great ! Best wishes.
