Faecal worm egg counts (WEC) are a simple and convenient way of
monitoring the efficacy of your worming regime. If your pasture management and
individual circumstances are such that worm risks are low, then a WEC can determine
whether your horse actually needs to be wormed!
Freshly passed faeces are required and at least 5 grams must be collected (be
generous!).
