Cheltenham Eggbutt Gag Bit
cheltenham eggbutt gag bit biEggbutt cheek bits stop the pinching which can be associated with loose ring bits. These bits are good for novice riders or horses that are fussy in their mouths, as the cheek reduces any subtle movements felt from the rein. Gag bits work by raising the bit in the horses mouth by using the roof and upper bars, this in turn raises the horses head. Such bits are used in conjunction with rope or leather gag cheeks. These cheeks are rolled, so that the bit can slide freely up and down. The bars are the areas of gum on the upper and lower jaws, between the front and back teeth, where the bit sits. These days it is considered inhumane to use the roof of the mouth, as it has little flesh to protect it and so it is not often used. Gag bits should be used on two reins, so that the snaffle action can be used for the most part and the correctional gag rein only when necessary to raise the horse's head. This Cheltenham Eggbutt Gag bit is available in four sizes, make your selection from the pull down menu. Established in the late eighteenth century (1700s) the Eldonian brand is one of the original and most respected names in riding hardware throughout the equestrian world. Eldonian is owned and marketed by Jeffries, under whose supervision only the finest stainless steel is used, to manufacture bits in a carefully-controlled engineering environment. This ensures that Eldonian stainless steel hardware meets the exacting standards of quality, strength, reliability and safety demanded by today's discerning riders.

Balding Gag Bit
balding gag bit biLoose ring bits give a more subtle form of communication between horse and rider than fixed cheek bits, like eggbutt or full cheek bits. This Balding Gag bit is available in two sizes, make your selection from the pull down menu. Sizing Loose Ring Bits - there should be a 1/4" gap each side of the horse's face. Loose ring bit which are too narrow can nip the horse's lips because the cheek slides through the hole in the mouthpiece and the lips can be pulled into the gap. Please take care to get the sizing right, as we cannot take back used horse bits. How to correctly adjust the height of your new bit. It is best to do most of the adjustment before putting the bridle on the horse so, put the bit onto the bridle then hold it up to the side of the horse's face. Then put the top of the headpiece level with the top of the horse's head (poll) and the mouthpiece of the bit level with the corner of the mouth. Next adjust the bridle to fit. The cheekpieces should be adjusted, so that the bit lies in the correct position in the horse's mouth, i.e. leaving a little wrinkle at each corner of the mouth. Do not fit the bit to high, so that the horse appears to be grinning. Do not fit the bit too low, so that the bit hits the horse's teeth. Established in the late eighteenth century (1700s) the Eldonian brand is one of the original and most respected names in riding hardware throughout the equestrian world. Hi Paul, I just picked up my weekend bag at my local post office here in Sweden. I'm very satisfied with the bag so far. It has been a pleasure dealing with you. Good communication in forms of order acknowledge and despatched status, fast delivery and reasonable prices. Just wanted to write and say I have had a great experience.

Jakob N., Sweden
The order arrived safely a few days ago, EXACTLY what we needed! You may be interested to know that we receive items from UK as quickly as we do from Hong Kong. They are as quick to post them as you did, but the mail system is slower (or possibly held up in customs).

Many of the luggage spares you are offering are almost unobtainable on this side of the planet!

Cheers.

Ewan R., Queensland

> Hi Paul, Just to let you know, the keys have arrived.... Many thanks for the lovely job....The keys are to a Delsey Case which belonged to my dad and when I found out that the spare and 1st key were missing it made me sad... My Dad passed away 18 years ago and I'm happy to be able to use his case thanks to you... Thank you Paul very much for this, I thought I was never going to be able to use it....

Claudia P., London
