globe pelham biPelham bits attempt the same results as a double bridle, but using only one bit. They work on the points of control in the mouth, plus the poll and curb groove. The result of pressure on the curb groove, is a pivoting action, causing the head to tilt into the conventional 'on the bit' postition. Double reins should be used, so that the curb action is exerted only when required. One rein via the use of roundings. Pelham bits are good for strong horses. This Globe Pelham Bit is now available in 4.5 inches only. How to correctly adjust the height of your new bit. It is best to do most of the adjustment before putting the bridle on the horse so, put the bit onto the bridle then hold it up to the side of the horse's face. Then put the top of the headpiece level with the top of the horse's head (poll) and the mouthpiece of the bit level with the corner of the mouth. Next adjust the bridle to fit. The cheekpieces should be adjusted, so that the bit lies in the correct position in the horse's mouth, i.e. leaving a little wrinkle at each corner of the mouth. Do not fit the bit to high, so that the horse appears to be grinning. Do not fit the bit too low, so that the bit hits the horse's teeth. Established in the late eighteenth century (1700s) the Eldonian brand is one of the original and most respected names in riding hardware throughout the equestrian world. Eldonian is owned and marketed by Jeffries, under whose supervision only the finest stainless steel is used, to manufacture bits in a carefully-controlled engineering environment. This ensures that Eldonian stainless steel hardware meets the exacting standards of quality, strength, reliability and safety demanded by today's discerning riders.

Dear Paul, Thank you for the fastener you supplied to me.
It works perfectly and I am so pleased that I have saved my leather bag. Your service was excellent, prompt and efficient and I will certainly order again. Regards,

Thank you Paul, I would just like to confirm that the jacket arrived today exactly as you stated it would.
I know that there were a few issues with this order which was not the fault of either myself or your company, but I would just like to say how this was completely mitigated by the response of the excellent staff that I dealt with at Cox the Saddler, it was much appreciated.
Again many thanks.

Richard B., Taunton
The parcel arrived this morning!

Henri B., Paris

G Marsden., Grimsby
The parcel arrived this morning. The riding gloves look just the thing my daughter will be delighted.

Sara M., Malaga
Thank you so much for the "martingale horse brass holders." They are exactly what I need to display the horse brass I accumulated when I lived in the UK, and of course I couldn't find them in the US. I looked here and could not find anything that would work. I did have one custom made but it was very pricy. Thank goodness for the internet and your "forward thinking" in advertising.
Marilyn M., Montana
Just to let you know, the jacket has arrived and hasn't been off my Husband's back since Christmas day, so I think we can safely say it was a success.

Many thanks again.

Clare G., Kent
Dear Sara & Paul, I have just received the Barbour Leather Tarras Bag. It is excellent. I have been looking for a bag for some considerable time and have finally got the ideal product. Not too big, not too small, comfortable and looks very classy. The perfect combination of form and function. The service and the price were great. I thoroughly recommend the product and the Company. Yours sincerely,

Alan W., Cambridgeshire
Sara/ Paul, I forgot to say, what a superb service you offer! Saved me from throwing away a perfectly good quality leather lap top case (apart from the original catches, which had given up!)
Many thanks, Regards

Phil G., Suffolk
