4 Inch Pewter Quaich Bowl with Celtic Knot Motif The Quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking vessel, shallow and circular, with a pair of small lug handles projecting horizontally from opposite sides. From these in ancient times, a guest would be offered a cup of welcome but also a farewell drink, often a dram of whisky. It is known that some travellers carried a Quaich with them in their travels.
