My name is Jessica Bailey, and I’m looking for a summer job at a stable just outside the metro area with the possibility of placement after I graduate next year. I've ridden horses since I was tiny and owned horses since I was12. Also I ride both Western and English. I have shown western pleasure and hunt seat over fences in the past. I've delt with an abused horse, and trained a mustang that I adopted through the BLM. I want to refine my training skills while also learning about the ins and outs of raising/ breeding a large herd. Horses are more than just a hobby for me. They’re my life. I breathe easier in a barn or pasture. With me comes my quarter horse, TJ, which can be used as a schooling horse for new riders or in tandem training with a young unproven horse. I pay for his feed, and take care of all his needs. As an employer, you would just work me and allow me to put my horse out in the pasture. When all is said and done, a resume just gives you the facts. An in person interview let's you get to know the person. I'm more than willing to meet and check out the grounds and horses.

I'm going to the racetrack to gallop in a few months, and I'm looking for a jockey helmet (preferrably Calienta, although that may be hard to find since they've stopped making them!), but really, I'm just looking for what everyone at the track wears. size 71/8-71/4. I'm also looking for a safety vest.. I think i would need a small, but I'm not sure. I'm 5'6" 110 lbs. He has jumped up to 3'3 and has shown over 2'6-2'9. His first time in a jumper competition was "A" rated and he placed 2nd, 4th, and 5th out of 8 or 9 people. He has 7 months professional training in Hunter Under Saddle. His first AQHA show with me we placed 3rd under both judges. He has Points and a ROM in Open Hunter Under Saddle for AQHA. Besides competing in Jumpers and Hunter Under Saddle, Jet has also shown in Hunter Hack, Eq, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, Showmanship, and Halter. He also has potential to become a Dressage horse. He would probably make a really nice Eventer as well. Besides all of his accomplishments in the show ring, Jet is a pleasure to be around in the farm. He is always the first one to say hello, and he comes when you call him out in the field.
