HELP WANTED ON SMALL PRIVATE STUD. Monday to Friday - for sole charge of 4-5 stabled mares and stallions and 7 horses at grass. Grass kept horses need checking twice daily and feeding. Tasks for stabled horses to include:
Doing rugs
Feeding
Turning out
Bringing in
Grooming
Mucking out
About 2h a day (One and a half hour in morning to feed, turnout and muck-out, and 1/2 hour in afternoon/evening to bring in, groom and final checks) Ideally, candidate would have a happy-hacking gelding they would like to keep at yard in exchange for some of the work. There are no schooling facilities but very nice hacking in area. Reliable person with good horse-sense and self motivation. References essential. I'm looking for a job for my brother who has a big experiences with horses, he is 22 years old. My parents have a small horse stud, well from the childhood he was with the horses. He can take the horses good care. He can feed the horses, saddle them, clean them. Now he is working on the horse stood in Austria but he wants to change the work place. He has a great references.

Hello, I am contacting you from Black Creek, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. In my younger years I travelled to Britain/ Scotland to obtain my assistant instructors and to work in your equestrian industry. It was a fantastic learning experience. Now, many years later, I would like to have someone come out to our stable here. I run a small riding school/ training facility/ competitive barn. We are in desperate need of an assistant/ apprentice/ working student. We are willing to pay airfare, plus a small monthly wage, room and board included. Ideally we are looking for someone between 18-21 , male or female that has extensive knowledge and experience working with young warmbloods in the hunter-jumper, dressage, and eventing areas.
