Why Cox the Saddler Ltd. Sells E. Jeffries Tack

Based in Walsall, West Midlands in the heart of equestrian manufacturing country is E. Jeffries hub of English tack manufacturing. English bridles still made in England from English leather tanned on their doorstep. E. Jeffries still makes tack the way it used to me made, much like our own Master Saddler Andy Huggins. Yes the cost is greater than that of foreign tack but it's more of an investment, the quality is beyond question we just don't get Jeffries products returned. After a few months of applying saddle soap to your Jeffries saddle or bridle it becomes less like a possession and more like a good friend. Even their cheek pieces are finished beautifully, the phrase cutting corners is not in Jeffries vocabulary. Don't get the idea that they are behind the times though - it was Jeffries who were the first to come up with the apple scented nylon Happy Mouth bit. Definitely one of our favourite suppliers and given time, I'll give all our Internet customers a real treat and add the Jeffries range of gifts to the site, leather photo frames and cufflink boxes, waste paper baskets and other office requisites all made from best english leather.
